I am always, always, doodling on the back (and front) of envelopes…
…and here is my latest doodle, inspired by days of rummaging round my handbag in search of my lippy only to find the poor little thing has just about had it.
It’s not that easy to replace, no matter where I look, I haven’t found it anywhere. Don’t you hate it when cosmetic companies discontinue that shade that gives you a bit of * * WOW * *?
Try this, it could save you a few quid and give you luscious lips for longer.

** Very simple instructions **
========================
Pop your lip gloss (with the lid up) in hot water for 5 minutes
and it magically melts to the bottom of the tube and gives you
lots more wear.
WARNING: Don’t apply until it has cooled down though

Fabulous!
PS: If you spot Clinique Blackberry Bloom anywhere, just let me know will ya?

Great tip – if only I had EVER found a lipstick I liked… And as for le Creuset, did you know that they (used to, at least) have a sale day at the distribution warehouse in Andover each year, I think in the Spring? It used to be around 50% off. Now, unfortunately I no longer have an ‘in’ so can’t guarantee it’s still happening, but could be worth digging around?
Really? I’m going to have to blag or wait for a job or rob a good friend the way my finances are!!
I have used this method for many years for mascara – don’t know why I never thought of it for lipgloss though!
nice one – I’ll try it for mascara as well. Although I do tend to clean old mascara brushes with washing up liquid and keep them for eyebrow grooming! By the way, do you fancy starting up a credit crunchista carnivale? there’s not many blogs out there yet but it would be good to do a round up of the best ones.
A “credit crunchista carnivale” sounds good to me – what ideas do you have about how we should start it?
I thought of posting something on my site and inviting people to send me their favourite thrift and frugal posts and set the date for two weeks time. I participate in a couple of others but I really want to bring together all these great blogs (like yours) I keep finding. So once it’s up then we set a date for the next one and pass the baton…you can email me at nixdminx@live.co.uk or twitter nixdminx

I love this, especially because it’s a London thing and there are so many great things to do for free, so will be featuring this, thanks AMM!
