Thanks Recessionista for this fricking great award – I’m chuffed to bits – are those vintage DMs in the photo? Have you noticed I made the piccy bigger – tee hee.

It’s so Communards meets post-modern Skins, I was half expecting an animation of Buster Blood Vessel to creep out of the screen.

It takes me back to those halcyon days when I had a stall at Camden market selling vintage clothes to raise money for my travels.

But what’s changed? We’re all living in an Ashes to Ashes time warp right now. I just got back from a West End show; Billy Elliot; all talk of recession, bad politics and brazen songs which made me cry with joy…but that was the 80s and it seems so now.

So there you have it – I’m simpering, I can’t take praise, I’m showing my age, I’m being sarcastic but honestly, I’m really, really chuffed and more than happy to pass it on without the recourse of infecting anyone else with anything other than a bit of an ego boost! Woo hoo!

1. Blogs
Trashy gossip Topical blogs; gawker, jezebel, digital spy, perez hilton, guardian, techcrunch – I’m not linking you’ve all got them already
2. Travelling and shopping
I take an empty suitcase and fill it with anything from designer clothes to canned food (yep, my budget has dwindled so I’ve swapped Armani clothes for canned Olives but they’ve all got nice labels)
3. Taxis
I swear I was born in one, it’s more affliction than addiction. I know I said I’d given them up but one more won’t hurt, plus I gossip with the drivers, why take the tube when you can do you make up in peace and watch the world go by?
4. Lip gloss
My oxygen ie. can’t live without my own personal swoosh…can’t leave the house in fact
5. My wonderful Miniminx
Definitely not last or least but she’s fabulous and I couldn’t live without her
