The life and times of a happy go lucky blogger in London
the one where I get mistaken for a paparazzi photographer…

I think I’ve heard it all now.

Last Thursday I was out and about enjoying ludicrous cocktails and a great dinner with my Yummy Mummies – we headed to Highroad House in Chiswick after a cheeky champagne cocktail or two at Carvosso.

The snow was falling, we were very high spirited and flashing our cameras around while slipping around drunkenly on the whitened pavement.

After dinner I thought I’d snatch some snowy pics and went outside. I was wearing a parker over my party gear and had my digital SLR. There was a group of smokers puffing away and we all had a merry slurred chat.

I was snapping away, probably like a loon at this point (must have been the copious amounts of viognier) and then they asked me if I was a paparazzi photographer….

Now I know I should have played up to it and told them I’d had just received a tip off and any number of A-list celebs were going to turn up soon. And that maybe they should just hang around outside in the freezing cold to catch a glimpse…but it was just too warm and too much fun inside…
