Hello people, it’s New Year’s Eve – the champagne has already been flowing and I’m going to have a nap before I go out dancing – it’s the only way to see the New Year in and go home having wrestled off those few thousand calories or so that I’ve imbibed / scoffed this festive season.

But before I do, I’m rounding up my top five moments of 2009…the meme passed to me by Liz a Living with Kids

Number 1 – dedicated to Miniminx

Who could fail to smile at this photo – it’s Miniminx in the stocks, well actually not. She’s poking her head through a chair at Waterstones on Piccadilly where we went to buy books after the great BMB lunch at the Rainforest Cafe…we had a lovely time and this photo really captures the essence of her personality; cheeky and exuberant and even though I say it myself, a total beauty We’ve had a brilliant time this year and here’s to 2010 dolly xx

Number 2 – the wonderful wedding of my niece

What a beauty she looks and spot the happy little flower girl there too

Number 3 – happy summer holiday
This is us in sunny Formentera where we went snorkelling and found out laughing under water is quite dangerous- which is very difficult!

We also hopped over to Ibiza to meet a very beautiful new baby – and a very late arrival for my favourite friends in Ibiza and how gorgeous – love to you all and Happy New year x

Number 4 – February snow, I just loved those two days we stole off the winter and we had so much fun in the snow. Here’s my little girl sharing a joke with a snowman…

Number 5 – frogs, newts and a Summer of barbecues

First we found a newt or two in our water butt, then came the frogs and it was a Summer of late nights and fun in the garden with our little friends hopping around
