Sometimes, I’m lost for words. Can you imagine your baby telling you to have a cigarette? Is this image pester power at it’s very worst do you think?
Children are always puzzled by adults smoking. It’s a surreal habit as illustrated by the amazing David Lynch cigarette ad below, I just hope I can kick it in to touch for once and for all. Wish me luck, I’m quitting cigarettes for good.

well i didn’t understand the advert video but i do remember the confusion over why people smoked when i was small. Good luck.

funny isn’t it – I was trying to explain it to a 9 year old but she looked at me blankly…hopefully by there will not be any new smokers …
I totally wish you all the best lucky in the world, as an ex smoker I appreciate just how hard it can be.

Yes, it’s hard, especially when I’ve given up so many times before but this time is the one I will succeed at … now fighting off a dreadful cold too
I stopped on 03/06/03 (after years of smoking 20 a day). I decided to go cold turkey and didn’t bother with patches, gum or inhalers. I wanted to get the nicotine out of my system as soon as possible. I won’t lie, it was hell for a couple of weeks, then it got easier. I put £5 per day in a clear vase and watched the cash grow. When I got to £300 I went shopping!
GOOD LUCK xxx

thanks I’m using gum and inhalers which are a bit strange but I’ve not smoked so far.
Good Luck!
