I'm living the dream and blogging from my iPad but the app doesn't work and so I've logged in from the web and can't see any of the flash stuff on the CMS, and it's taken ages, not really what I was hoping for but that's what happens when you delve into the world of tech and geekery; it's not always going to work how you expect it.

I'm here to understand what lies beneath statistics, but first of all, let me offer you some: Between 1980 and 2008, the mortality rate for children aged one to four years fell by 61 per cent from 51 deaths per 100,000 population in 1980 in the UK, to 20 deaths per 100,000 population in 2008 (source ONS).
